i started playing The World Ends with You, a square-enix game for the DS. i read the ign review last night and was happy to find that gamestop didn't close for another hour. anyway, i love it and my pink DS. i'm also starting to not suck after a few hours of being ranked with Es and Ds because you use both screens at once to control characters on each one. it is amazing.

i have a job for next year and i could not be more excited. it makes subbing bearable for the rest of the year. it will be 7th or 8th grade but i don't know which. i subbed technology today, which i was dreading, but it ended up being autoCAD classes so i didn't have to worry about kids with saws.

:) i'm really only typing this entry because i convinced myself i should take a short break from the game. i just finished rereading lord of the rings and you know, everything i pick up afterwards just doesn't hold the same magic. it's kind of spoiling me. i've just started reading some sherlock holmes stories. maybe after that i'll try to pick up some charles dickens and finish david copperfield even though i forgot where i was. that is the worst! i always want to eat dinner at 4pm. ridiculous! toasted cheese ravioli-here i come!
